Consortia of legal entities (e.g., SMEs, universities, research organizations, NGOs, public bodies) from eligible countries. Involvement of SMEs, civil society stakeholders, and newcomers to Horizon Europe Cluster 6 is encouraged.Funding Details
Maximum grant amount: 10,000,000 EUR. Funding is provided as a lump sum.What Is Funded
- Development of user-friendly bio-based products/services with societal benefits (e.g., resource-efficient consumer goods, reduced environmental impact).
- Assessment of socio-economic models for circular and bio-based systems, integrating environmental justice, gender equality, and social inclusion.
- Research on public perception, market acceptance, and consumption patterns related to bio-based innovation.
- Cooperation with industry, authorities, and civil society to advance scale-up and market deployment.
- Integration of digital technologies (e.g., AI, bioinformatics) and gender/social dimensions.
Technology / Maturity Requirements
Activities must achieve TRL 4-5 by project end. Projects may start at any TRL, but the call targets proposals operating at TRL 7-9.Key Dates
