Who Can Apply

Public or private organizations, including accelerators, incubators, venture capital firms, universities, research centers, and public authorities. Consortia are permitted if led by a single legal entity.

Funding Details

  • Total budget: 1,200,000 EUR
  • Maximum grant per project: 300,000 EUR
  • Funding rate: Up to 70% of eligible costs
  • Co-funding: Minimum 30% of total project costs required from applicants

  • Development and scaling of acceleration programs for urban mobility startups
  • Investment readiness initiatives, including pitch training and investor matchmaking
  • Market access support, such as pilot project facilitation and regulatory guidance
  • Networking and collaboration activities between startups, investors, and public authorities
  • Knowledge-sharing and dissemination of best practices in urban mobility innovation

Technology / Maturity Requirements

  • Startups supported through funded activities must operate at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4-9
  • Applicants must demonstrate prior experience in running startup support programs or ecosystem-building initiatives

Single-stage application process. Submissions must be made via the EIT Urban Mobility online portal.

  • Preference may be given to proposals that demonstrate collaboration across multiple European regions or countries.
