Consortia involving at least 2 national authorities responsible for disaster risk or crisis communication and 2 local/regional authorities responsible for disaster response, from at least 3 different EU Member States or Associated Countries. Eligible applicants include public bodies, research institutions, and private entities established in eligible countries, excluding those directly or indirectly controlled by China.Funding Details
Maximum funding per project: 7,833,000 EUR. Eligible costs are reimbursed via a lump-sum mechanism.What Is Funded
Development of advanced decision support systems leveraging near real-time data, AI-driven tools, and predictive modeling to enhance situational awareness, response times, and coordination among stakeholders. Projects must integrate trustworthy, transparent, and ethical AI, align with EU AI ethics guidelines, and address usability for diverse users. Supported activities include stakeholder/market analysis, roadmaps for uptake, and validation through test centers. Synergies with existing EU initiatives (e.g., UCPM, KAPP) and data sources (e.g., Copernicus, Galileo) are encouraged.Technology / Maturity Requirements
