Who Can Apply

Consortia of legal entities established in eligible countries, including research organizations, SMEs, large enterprises, and public bodies. Single applicants are not eligible.

Funding Details

Maximum grant amount: 12,500,000 EUR per project. Funding is provided as a lump sum, with eligible costs determined by the Horizon Europe lump sum model.

What Is Funded

Projects must address at least three of the following:
  • Technologies for analyzing part condition and predictive maintenance, combining sensor data, AI, and human inputs.
  • AI and robotic-assisted de-manufacturing, including handling, sorting, and logistics.
  • Model-based systems using CAD data and digital twins for de- and re-manufacturing.
  • On-site repair or re-manufacturing solutions for high-value components (e.g., wind turbines, aircraft, vessels).
  • Planning tools for sequencing operations based on incoming product characteristics.
Projects must include a business case and exploitation strategy.

Technology / Maturity Requirements

Proposals must target Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 4 to 6.

Single-stage application process via the Funding & Tenders Portal. Proposals must adhere to the extended page limit for the business case and exploitation strategy.

Post-Award Obligations

The granting authority may object to the transfer of ownership or exclusive licensing of results for up to four years after the project ends. Reporting and dissemination requirements follow Horizon Europe standards.
