Supports the creation of an EU-wide advisory network to equip agricultural advisors with updated skills, tools, and resources for guiding young and new farmers in establishing and sustaining innovative, climate-resilient agricultural businesses.Who Can Apply
Consortia of organizations, including advisory services, training providers, research institutions, and public authorities. Proposals must implement a multi-actor approach, with at least 50% of involved individuals being impartial advisors who spend at least half their time advising farmers.Funding Details
Maximum grant amount: 6,000,000 EUR. Funding is provided as a lump sum.What Is Funded
- Development and exchange of knowledge, tools, and learning materials for advisors supporting young and new farmers.
- Training programs, cross-border visits, internships, and business strategy development tailored to generational renewal in agriculture.
- Guidance on farm establishment, including land acquisition, financing, legal matters, technology adoption, and sustainable farming practices.
- Support for farm succession planning and early-stage farm development challenges.
- EU-wide communication campaigns to promote farming as an attractive career for young generations.
- Collaboration with national/regional authorities and Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) to ensure long-term sustainability of outputs.
