Funding for ground demonstrations of hybrid-electric propulsion architectures for ultra-efficient small and medium-range (SMR) aircraft, targeting at least 5% CO₂ emissions reduction at aircraft level. Intended for consortia advancing technology from TRL 4-5 to TRL 6 by 2030.Who Can Apply
Consortia of legal entities established in eligible countries, including SMEs, large enterprises, research organizations, and universities. Single applicants are not eligible.Funding Details
Maximum grant amount: 60,000,000 EUR. Funding rate and co-funding requirements follow Horizon Europe rules as specified in the Clean Aviation Work Programme.What Is Funded
Development and ground demonstration of hybrid-electric propulsion sub-systems integrated into ducted or unducted engines. Activities must align with a roadmap to TRL 6 by 2030 and support a future product launch compatible with an entry into service (EIS) by 2035.Technology / Maturity Requirements
