Who Can Apply

Consortia or organizations from eligible EU Member States and Associated Countries, including public bodies, non-profits, cooperatives, research institutions, and private entities. Proposals must involve diverse community stakeholders, including marginalized or vulnerable groups.

Funding Details

  • Maximum grant amount: €5,500,000
  • Funding is provided as a lump sum
  • At least 0.8% of the budget must be allocated to engage with the Horizon Europe-funded "New European Bauhaus hub for results and impact"

What Is Funded

  • Development and validation of collective community investment or ownership models in at least three neighborhoods across different Member States/Associated Countries
  • Two thematic options:
- Option A: Community equity investment model for cooperative or community-based commercial/service-oriented assets - Option B: Occupant equity model for cooperative or community-based housing or mixed-use assets
  • Socioeconomic and environmental impact assessments, including long-term affordability, accessibility, and local community outcomes
  • Identification of systemic challenges and solutions for model uptake, including legal and regulatory considerations
  • Recommendations for scaling and adapting the model in diverse local and cultural contexts
