Overview
Research grant focused on integrating climate-related exposures into the human exposome to characterize its health impacts under climate change. Targets multidisciplinary consortia of researchers, policymakers, and healthcare practitioners advancing exposome science with climate data.Who Can Apply
Consortia of legal entities (e.g., universities, research institutions, public bodies, private organizations) from eligible countries. Participation of social sciences and humanities (SSH) experts is mandatory. US-based entities are eligible for EU funding under specific conditions.Funding Details
Maximum grant amount: 11,000,000 EUR. Co-funding requirements or funding rates are not specified. What Is Funded
- Integration of climate-related exposures (e.g., extreme heat, air pollution) into exposome research.
- Multidisciplinary studies on exposome changes due to climate pressures and their health implications.
- Development of AI/machine learning methodologies for exposome data analysis, including Real-World Data (RWD).
- Longitudinal cohort studies combining exposome, medical, omics, and biological data.
- Identification of exposome indicators, biomarkers, and intersectional vulnerability factors (e.g., socioeconomic, demographic).
- Expansion of exposome toolboxes to include climate-related exposures.
- Dissemination of findings to policymakers, healthcare practitioners, and the public.
