Supports early-career researchers and innovators in developing breakthrough technologies and solutions through mobility and collaboration across Europe. Targets individuals with high potential in science, engineering, or entrepreneurship.

Who Can Apply

Early-career researchers, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and young innovators (typically under 35) affiliated with universities, research institutions, or innovative SMEs. Applicants must demonstrate a track record in research or innovation and propose a host institution in an eligible country.

Funding Details

  • Individual grants of up to €100,000 per fellow for a duration of 12–24 months.
  • Covers living allowance, research costs, travel, and training.
  • No co-funding requirement, but host institutions may provide additional support.

What Is Funded

  • Cross-border mobility and collaboration projects in deep tech, green transition, digital transformation, or health innovation.
  • Development of novel technologies, proof-of-concept studies, or early-stage commercialization efforts.
  • Training, mentorship, and networking activities to enhance innovation skills.

Technology / Maturity Requirements

  • Projects must align with TRL 2–5 (from concept validation to early prototyping).
  • Preference for proposals with clear potential for societal or economic impact.

Notes

  • Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the host country for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the call deadline.
