Who Can Apply

Research organizations, universities, public bodies, and consortia from eligible EU Member States, Associated Countries, and select third countries with specific funding provisions. International collaboration is encouraged.

Funding Details

Maximum grant amount: 15,000,000 EUR. Funding is provided as a lump sum.

What Is Funded

Analysis and exploitation of space data from scientific and exploration missions (excluding Earth observation), including CubeSat and small satellite missions. Activities may involve advanced data processing, AI techniques, statistical approaches, data fusion, and visualization. Projects must produce scientific publications, higher-level data products, tools, or methods, with enhanced data products encouraged for submission to ESA Space Science Archives.

Technology / Maturity Requirements

Projects must operate at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 4 to 6.

Notes

Projects using satellite-based data must prioritize Copernicus and/or Galileo/EGNOS. Gender dimension integration is required only if relevant to research objectives. International cooperation is encouraged, particularly with countries active in space exploration and science.
