What Is Funded
Projects must address:- Assessment of shocks (climate, environmental, socio-economic, infrastructure disruptions) affecting rural communities.
- Measurement of resilience using tailored indicators.
- Inclusive governance models engaging women, youth, and vulnerable groups in disaster risk reduction and management.
- Co-design of solutions to anticipate, prepare for, and recover from shocks.
- Support for local, regional, and national governments in understanding rural vulnerabilities and designing response strategies.
- Collaboration with existing Horizon Europe projects and contribution to the Resilience Dashboards developed by the Joint Research Centre (JRC).
