Who Can Apply

Consortia of research institutions, specialized service providers (e.g., NGOs, community organizations), local authorities, civil society organizations, media and information providers, schools, educational organizations, cultural institutions, and heritage institutes. International cooperation is encouraged.

Funding Details

Maximum grant amount: 6,000,000 EUR. Funding is provided as a lump sum.

What Is Funded

Projects addressing:
  • Development and implementation of strategies for sustainable peace and democratic reconstruction.
  • Evidence-based recommendations for EU and national policymakers on international cooperation, democracy support, and civil society engagement.
  • Guidance and support for local civil society and community groups, particularly vulnerable populations, on reconciliation, accountability, and sustainable peace.
  • Support services for veterans and conflict-affected populations, addressing socio-economic and psychological needs.
  • Interdisciplinary research on post-conflict reconstruction, including prevention of fractured transitions, intergenerational perspectives, and innovative methods like participatory governance and community-led reconstruction.

Technology / Maturity Requirements

Projects must operate at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 4, 5, or 6.

Application Process (High-Level)

Single-stage application process via the EU Submission System. Proposals must include a detailed budget table and adhere to a 50-page limit for Part B of the application.
