Consortia must include at least two research infrastructures, such as ESFRI landmarks/projects, European Research Infrastructure Consortia (ERIC), or international European research organizations. Other eligible applicants include public and private research organizations, industry, and startups.Funding Details
Maximum funding per project: 40,000,000 EUR. Beneficiaries may provide financial support to third parties (FSTP) in the form of grants, with a maximum of 500,000 EUR per third party.What Is Funded
- Co-creation of advanced technologies addressing research infrastructure needs, with a focus on resource efficiency, environmental impact, and technological sovereignty.
- Partnerships between research infrastructures and industry or other research organizations to develop and exploit technological solutions.
- Activities supporting technology transfer and commercial potential assessment.
- Pre-commercial procurement (PCP) subcontracting for competitive development of solutions.
Technology / Maturity Requirements
- Developments for research infrastructure use cases must reach at least TRL 4 by project end.
- Additional applications beyond research infrastructures should reach TRL 3-4.
- Proposals must specify the target TRL for each development.
